Nick Chicoine
Pacific Coast Pinch N' Pop Head Coach
What's up, gentlemen? I am from Massapequa, NY, and went on to play lacrosse at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. For my freshman through sophomore seasons, the team played in the MCLA D2. I was named team captain and given All America Honorable Mention honors in 2014. When the team moved up to NCAA D3 my senior season (2015), I was named NEWMAC All Conference. After a few years away from the game conducting counter-drug law enforcement operations in the Coast Guard, I left the military and set on a new career path in healthcare. Along this journey, I began a Master's in Public Health program at UC Davis. With a year of lacrosse eligibility remaining, I came back to the MCLA D2 with the Aggies and was named a 1st team WCLL All-Conference faceoff specialist in 2022. Under the guidance of UC Davis Head Coach and former Tewaarton Award finalist Frank Resetarits (University of Alabany, 2003-2007), my passion for lacrosse was reignited. I am fully committed to helping continue to grow this sport, which his given me so much, here on the West Coast. Specifically, I want to help pass on my love for the faceoff "X" to the next generation of California faceoff specialists as I begin my journey as a future physician at California Northstate University College of Medicine.
